Tune in to Video Game Awards 2011 on Spike TV, MTV2 or Spike.com on Saturday, Dec 10 at PM ET / 5:00 PM PT.

That's right, the three Blizzard founders (who are already gods in the Warcaft, Starcraft and Diablo universes) Michael Morhaime, Allen Adham, and Frank Pearce will rise to god status in the gaming community on December 10, 2011 with the "Gamer God" Award from Spike TV's Video Game Awards 2011. The Award is such a prestigious title that only one person was bestowed this honor in the past: Will Wright, creator of the Sims series, in 2008. The award is a recognition of Blizzard's contribution to the gaming industry through their topnotch games.

Blizzard will also reveal the full opening cinematic of Diablo III at VGA 2011. Judging from the quality and awesomeness of the Black Soulstone Trailer, we can expect to see more cinematic eyecandy animation from the Blizzard team. What's more, we'll get to see hints into the game's plot.

Lastly, Diablo III is nominated for the Most Anticipated Game of 2012. Vote for Diablo III by clicking the image below.

The other nominees are BioShock: Infinite, Halo 4, Mass Effect 3 and The Last Guardian.
