Yep. Blizzard Entertainment just announced BlizzCon 2010. It will be held at Anaheim Convention Center, California once again from October 22-23, 2010.

"BlizzCon offers us a great opportunity to meet with our players and share our enthusiasm for gaming with one of the most passionate communities in the world. We're looking forward to providing another great show filled with entertainment, competition, and the latest information about Blizzard Entertainment games."
-Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment.

Blizzard has three titles in the works right now, one for each popular franchise: World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, StarCraft II and Diablo III so expect a massive BlizzCon 2010 event.

As with all BlizzCons in the past, the event would not only be a showcase of Blizzard games.

  • Hands-on play time with upcoming Blizzard Entertainment games
  • Discussion panels with Blizzard Entertainment developers
  • Competitive and casual tournaments for players to showcase their talents
  • Community contests with great prizes
  • Commemorative merchandise based on Blizzard Entertainment's game universes
  • More exciting activities and attractions to be announced

BlizzCon is a celebration of the Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo franchises and the communities that surround them. This two-day event will contain Q&A panels featuring Blizzard Entertainment developers, social events for players and developers to meet one another, hands-on gameplay featuring your favorite Blizzard Entertainment games, casual and competitive tournaments, and more.
